Bagabonn History

About two years ago, I was off from my "day job" and putzing around the house in search of something to do. I found a yard of fabric and decided to make a handbag. I showed my finished work to my job associates, who held back laughter and said "are you going to make more?" The translation of that question is, "are you sure you want to show that thing to us?" I laughed out loud at their manners and etiquette for wanting to be kind over cruel. Long story short, I kept at it and continue to work on a craft that really is more folk art and an inherited trait than trained skill. It brings me joy!

Do you ever step out on a limb and find a sense of inner peace and accomplishment that is far from your safe position (your job)? Do you find your driven by the lack of pressure of meeting a deadline or a budget, but just driven by your built in, often untapped, creativity?
