The Bagabonn Brand


Most times, when someone asks the origin of a name, it's a pretty simple endeavor to find the answer. But with Bagabonn the answer is not right in front of you. We wanted to name our line of bags, Bagabond, as a sort of play on the word vagabond. Our concept was to place the bags for photo sessions in the same settings as where you might find vagabonds. The domain name Bagabond was taken, so we dropped the "d" and added an "n". A kind of marriage of bags and bonbons.


To this day, our brand concept remains unchanged. With the brand to take photos outdoors more often than indoors, to not use pins and measuring devices, to redefine the purpose of fabrics and to simply have fun. Much of our popularity is born in our photo shoots. That's when children and adults stop and stare and ask why are we putting "that beautiful bag" in a construction site, or an alley, or crime scene, or playground? We believe our motto speaks volumes whichever way we say it. It's the Art of the Bag, or A Bag of Art.
